Welovefounders, a Brussels-based SaaS B2B European Fund, launches a €35M fundraising round. The investors aim to assist up to 15 startups with product market fit, go-to-market strategies, and board member participation, thereby easing the difficulties faced by early-stage businesses.

Partners of Welovefounders include:

Olivier Mertens, founder of the Metaverse Taatu: later oversaw Sambrinvest's digital startup investments, supporting over 30 businesses and sitting on the boards of more than 25 others, including Shippr, PricingPact, Shyfter, EMAsphere, and Urbantz.

The founder of Odyssey, a business with over 700 workers and annual sales of over €80 million, was Antoine Duchateau.

The deal-by-deal fund's creator, Olivier Tabery, invested over €30 million in businesses like Airbnb, SpaceX, Klarna, Perlego, and Masters.

Thomas Goubau was the creator of Aproplan, which subsequently merged with Geniebelt to become Letsbuild.

Together, they have founded four businesses, two funds, and more than 70 technology firms, investing in them at various stages from pre-seed to pre-IPO. Within the next 18 months, the fund hopes to raise an additional €20 million. Its initial closing, which raised €15 million, was successful.
