Vini Mini is creating dietary supplements and goods that can be administered to infants in a safe, easy, and healthful way to introduce them to allergies. With a focus on childhood food allergies, one of the health issues that is expanding the quickest in the globe, Vini Mini hopes to take the lead in preventive child healthcare.
Jozien Boersma, co-founder of Vini Mini, commented: “Introducing allergens to a baby should become as commonplace for parents as giving supplements like vitamin D & K. Our products and information should be available wherever young parents are found. And this is just the beginning; Vini Mini aims to become a leading player in preventive pediatric healthcare.”
Food allergies affect one in four children in Europe, resulting in direct and indirect expenditures estimated at €40 billion. By 2050, when over half of the population is predicted to suffer from a food allergy, this number is projected to rise.
Nonetheless, studies reveal that exposing infants to allergens frequently and early on can prevent 80% of food allergies. Five million babies are born in Europe each year; Vini Mini is making simple, safe, and healthful solutions that will help these babies avoid a lifetime of food allergies.
Based on the risk profile of babies, Vini Mini has already created peanut, hazelnut, cashew nut, and walnut Startkits, Follow-up kits, and snacks. With the help of this finance, the business will be able to increase distribution into new areas and bolster its sales and marketing departments with many crucial recruits.
The two very seasoned Dutch women entrepreneurs make up the founding team. Laurie Lancee and Jozien Boersma became friends throughout their studies twenty years ago.

Together, they have over 15 years of experience working in the marketing, sales, and finance divisions of some of the most recognizable consumer brands in Europe, such as Danone and Heineken. Currently, they are developing Vini Mini. In order to help the business achieve its ambitious expansion objective, Irene Groenink will join as a strategic advisor.
When Laurie's 6-month-old baby had a serious allergic response while on vacation, she got firsthand experience with the dangers of food allergies. It was only after receiving an adrenaline shot from the hospital that this stopped. Laurie discovered her kid had an allergy to eggs following the incident, and she was able to protect him from peanut and nut allergies by exposing him to them carefully and at a young age.
RJ Schuurs, Partner at Antler, added: “Jozien and Laurie are a highly experienced and motivated founding team addressing one of the biggest challenges in pediatric healthcare. They combine commercial experience with a strong sense of purpose and they could have a positive impact on millions of lives in the Netherlands and across Europe. I am delighted to have backed them and have every confidence in their future success.”
