Vigilant AI.ai Secures £585K Pre-seed Funding To Launch Compliant “AI Teammates”

The funding comes from three Haatch-managed sources: Haatch, the East Midlands Combined County Authority, and the British Business Bank.

Regulated enterprises recognize AI’s efficiency potential but struggle with trust and compliance. Vigilant AI.ai bridges this gap by embedding generative AI into existing workflows as “AI Teammates.” These operate within real-time compliance guardrails, create immutable audit trails, and integrate seamlessly with tools like Slack. The platform enables rapid deployment and empowers domain experts not just IT to build and manage AI teammates.

Vigilant AI.ai is founded on three core principles. First, compliance must be enforced in real time, not just during reviews or audits. Second, AI should operate within existing workflows, eliminating the need for separate apps. Third, teams should be empowered to build, manage and evolve their own AI teammates to ensure solutions remain practical and adaptable.

The new funding will be used to expand hiring and go-to-market efforts, enhance the platform with intuitive controls, enterprise-grade security, and self-service onboarding and convert ongoing pilots into revenue by Q4 2025, alongside further deployments with regulated clients.
