VersaTile funding news – VersaTile Automation Secures £8 Million in Seed Funding

The team behind UK manufacturing company Tharsus Group, which creates innovative automation solutions for numerous companies globally, such as Rolls Royce, Ocado, and BMW, is in charge of VersaTile.

It has created a modular automation solution for high-intensity fulfilment centres utilising artificial intelligence (AI). This system uses a dynamic tiling system to move products, altering warehouse surroundings.

The "intelligent floor," which doubles productivity and takes up half the footprint of conventional warehouse systems, can move items immediately and knows exactly where the things are.

It can react instantly to unforeseen changes and is also capable of self-learning because to its integrated artificial intelligence. It may be incorporated into warehouses without requiring modifications to the current infrastructure, increasing production by reducing labour and utilising available warehouse space.

Wincanton is the company's first client, and it is helping the Wincanton crew pick orders more efficiently. Order choosing is made possible in a matter of minutes thanks to VersaTile's 3D configuration, which triples pick and presentation rates.
