Vigo-based startup Vancubic, which specializes in modular camper van conversions, has raised €500k to help expand internationally, especially in Europe, and broaden its product range. The funding round was led by Faraday, with support from Eoniq Fund, Aticco Ventures, and Crowdcube.

Vancubic's system consists of two modules that fit inside a van, secured with approved slings, without needing any permanent changes. This design makes installation easy and avoids structural modifications. Legally, it is considered cargo, so no extra approvals or certifications are required.

Vancubic offers a range of modular products for van conversions, making it easy for both individuals and businesses to customize vans. The company has completed successful van projects for big brands like Red Bull and Dulcesol.

Their design focuses on efficient wastewater management, uses local suppliers, and ensures high-quality, durable materials.

Vancubic currently offers three models: Basic, Loft, and Premium. Each model comes with features like a portable gas stove, floating table, indoor and outdoor shower, a 110W portable solar panel, and an upholstered sofa. The minimum required size for the van is 2.70 meters in length and 1.90 meters in height.

The new investment will help the company expand internationally, particularly in Europe. It will also allow Vancubic to offer more products for different types of vans and create custom solutions for businesses. This funding will support Vancubic’s growth strengthening its position as a leader in modular mobility and van life, offering flexible, sustainable and customizable systems.
