Tutornow is an Italian educational technology (EdTech) startup founded in 2021 by Riccardo Sciortino, Nicola De Carlo, Andrei Braila, and Luca Dei Rossi. The company offers a digital platform that provides personalized lessons and interactive tools to make learning more accessible and effective for students.
Before founding Tutornow, Nicola De Carlo and Luca Dei Rossi established Educo, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting students with learning disabilities (DSA) and special educational needs (BES). This experience influenced Tutornow's approach, focusing on personalized education to cater to individual learning needs.
Tutornow aims to assist students and families in enhancing academic performance through targeted tutoring, language certifications, academic recovery programs, and skill development. Additionally, the company offers B2B training solutions for businesses, including corporate welfare programs.
In recent years, Tutornow has experienced significant growth, doubling its revenue year over year. The team has expanded from the original four founders to 30 members, with plans to hire more in areas like sales, operations, technology, and finance.
Since its launch, Tutornow has delivered over 150,000 hours of lessons, involving a network of more than 15,000 qualified tutors. The platform is recognized for its support of students with DSA and BES, offering personalized lessons through an easy-to-use digital interface.
To further enhance its services, Tutornow is developing an AI-based algorithm to optimize the matching between tutors and students, ensuring a highly personalized experience and improving the quality of service offered.
The company is also strengthening its B2B offerings by providing employee family support services and dedicated corporate training programs. Tutornow is featured on notable corporate welfare platforms, including Edenred and Double You, part of the Zucchetti Group, and has implemented corporate welfare programs directly with several prominent Italian companies.
With new investments and enhancements to its technological infrastructure, Tutornow aims to become a leading player in the field of digital learning, expanding its presence not only in the Italian market but also internationally in the near future.
Legal advisory for the recent funding deal was provided by Francesco Pezcoller, a lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital, while financial advisory was handled by Exit.ai.
