Copenhagen-based travel platform Tryp.com has raised €3.1 million in funding to grow its AI travel planning platform through 2025. The round was led by Iberis Capital, with participation from EdenBase, ITV, GMPVC German Media Pool, and Jacob Gade.

Tryp.com in the social media post announcing the funding round said, “Tryp.com started in a student dorm and is now heading to prime-time TV! It has been an incredible journey, and we are so proud to have the support of amazing investors and a passionate community of travellers,”.
It was created by six engineering students in 2020 and launched its Beta version in 2021. The platform uses technology to scan millions of travel options, helping users find affordable and easy travel solutions.

In 2024, the company increased its marketing budget by 27%, leading to a 2.3x growth in revenue and a 2.1x rise in ticket sales. They focused on improving their virtual interlining technology, using machine learning to boost conversion rates by 57%, and introduced Sandra, an AI travel assistant that helped with over 24,000 conversations.
This funding round comes alongside Tryp.com’s rebranding and new profile and booking management pages.
