SUMMARY
- London-based HRtech startup TraqCheck has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from IIFL.
The company automates hiring workflows using AI agents that handle candidate sourcing, resume screening, and background checks end-to-end reducing manual effort, improving efficiency, and minimising costly errors, especially in sensitive areas like background verification.
TraqCheck’s background screening agent, Trace, is already used by nearly 300 enterprise customers worldwide, including Randstad Enterprise, Wipro, and The Digital College.
The company is now expanding into talent acquisition with its conversational AI agent Nina, which engages candidates, qualifies applicants, and connects vetted talent directly with hiring managers allowing recruiters to focus on higher-value, human-centric tasks.

The funding will support TraqCheck’s expansion in the UK increasing its team to 25 employees and scaling its Human Operating System an AI-driven infrastructure layer of specialised agents designed to streamline HR processes, reduce tool fragmentation, and enable seamless collaboration across SMBs and enterprises in Europe.
According to Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner at IvyCap Ventures, the company has shown strong product vision and execution by applying autonomous agents to address real-world enterprise challenges in talent acquisition and verification.
IIFL’s Fintech Fund focuses on backing companies building robust, defensible infrastructure at the intersection of AI and enterprise workflows highlighting confidence in TraqCheck’s long-term potential.
“The Human Operating System thesis resonates with us deeply as agentic AI moves from experimentation to production in enterprise environments companies like TraqCheck that own the full workflow stack sourcing screening verification are positioned to become category defining infrastructure. We are excited to partner with the team as they scale this vision across India and Europe."
According to Jaibir Nihal Singh, Founder and Co-CEO, TraqCheck, recruiting has been stuck in search interfaces and fragmented tools for two decades.
“Agents change the interface entirely. Instead of navigating software, you simply tell an AI what role you want to hire for and the system executes the entire workflow. We are building systems that collaborate and make decisions, not just tools that display information.”
