The targeted £80M Climate Impact Fund 2 has already secured commitments for £63M of capital, including up to £50M from the British Business Bank through its Enterprise Capital Funds programme.

Maxion Therapeutics (”Maxion”), a biotechnology company developing antibody-based KnotBody® drugs for ion channel- and G protein coupled receptor (GPCR)-driven diseases, announced that it has raised $72 million (£58 million) in a Series A financing.

C1 Green Chemicals AG
Berlin-based CleanTech startup C1 Green Chemicals AG has raised €20 million to launch its green methanol technology. C1 predicts the green methanol market will grow to €183 billion per year by 2050, with the potential to save several gigatons of CO2 annually, which is a significant portion of global CO2 emissions.
