European Startups raised capital in order to expand and move into more successful. Here is this week's Top European Startups Funding Roundup- March 02– March 06 2026.

PLD Space

PLD Space, the Elche-based space transportation scale-up, has secured €180 million in a Series C funding round to accelerate its shift to commercial operations and scale its industrial and launch capabilities.

The round was led by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, with co-investments from the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities via CDTI’s INNVIERTE fund, COFIDES through its FOCO investment fund, and Nazca Capital via Nazca Aeroespacial y Defensa INNVIERTE I FCR Fund.

RIFT

RIFT, an Eindhoven-based developer of an iron fuel technology platform, has raised €113.8 million in total financing.

The funding includes an €83.1 million Series B led by PGGM, with participation from Invest-NL, Oost NL, Rubio Impact Ventures, BOM, and the Energietransitiefonds Rotterdam, alongside a €30.7 million grant from the EU Innovation Fund.

The capital will support the development of RIFT’s first commercial production facility and the execution of its initial large-scale industrial heat projects.

Oxa

British autonomous driving startup Oxa has raised $103 million in new funding to expand the deployment of self-driving vehicles across ports, airports, warehouses, and other industrial environments.

Series D round, $50 million was provided by the UK’s National Wealth Fund, with additional backing from NVentures, Nvidia’s venture arm, and bp Ventures. The raise brings Oxa’s total funding to more than $250 million.

Flink

Berlin-based Flink, a quick-commerce platform operating in Germany and the Netherlands has raised approximately $100 million in fresh growth capital.

Polares Medical

Polares Medical, a clinical-stage structural heart company based in Lausanne, Switzerland, has raised $50 million in a Series C funding round.

The round was backed by DC Global Ventures, Lumination Partners, existing investors, and a new strategic investor.

The company will use the proceeds to expand operations and advance its research and development activities.

Silverflow

Silverflow, the Amsterdam-based cloud-native payments company, has raised €37 million ($40 million) in a Series B round to accelerate global expansion, broaden its product offering, and grow its workforce by more than 50%.

The round was led by Picus Capital, with participation from Rabo Investments and existing investors Inkef, GPT, Crane, and Coatue.

Unleash

Unleash, the Oslo-based open-source FeatureOps company, has raised $35 million in a Series B round led by One Peak, with continued backing from Spark Capital, Frontline Ventures, and Firstminute Capital.

UniverCell

UniverCell, a European manufacturer of high-performance lithium-ion battery cells and electrodes, has raised €30 million in a Series B financing round.

Validio

Validio, an enterprise data management platform, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Plural, with participation from existing investors and angels including Lakestar, J12 Ventures, Kevin Ryan, Denise Persson, and Emil Eifrem. This brings the company’s total funding to $47 million.

Evervault

Evervault, a developer-first platform for encrypting and orchestrating sensitive data based in New York and Dublin, has raised €21 million ($25 million) in Series B funding to expand its encryption infrastructure, advance product development, and grow its engineering and product teams.
