The funding round was led by Lucid Capital, a SaaS fund based in Berlin, and included angel investors with experience in AI, InsurTech, and financial services from companies like CLARK, Ascendia, Harvey, Meta, Thinksurance, and Covago.

Gackstatter, CEO and Co-founder of TODAY, has experience from working at the German InsurTech company CLARK. There, he helped grow the business from an idea to a successful company.

While building tools for advisors at CLARK, he noticed that many advisors struggled with productivity. Now, he wants to fix this problem with TODAY’s AI-powered solution.
TODAY’s product is designed to be easy and user-friendly for financial advisors. It works with popular meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and GotoMeeting, allowing smooth recording and transcription of client calls.
The product also creates instant documents to capture every customer detail, task, and portfolio update safely and in line with rules like the AI Act and GDPR. The company says it can onboard teams quickly—about 90 minutes for the whole team and just 3 minutes for each advisor.
Some well-known clients using TODAY are Lieblings Makler, Käpsele, and Penzilla. They use it to improve the quality of their advice and work more efficiently.
TODAY’s coaching tools give useful insights after each session, such as how much the advisor talked, chances to sell more services, and how the customer reacted. By highlighting important details from conversations, TODAY helps advisors work 30% better every day.
