London-based Threedium secures $11m series A round funding. The round was led by Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) and Olma Partners with additional support from Mesh Consensys, Reflexive Capital, Nirvana Family Office, Lyra Ventures, Edenbase, and Kinisis Venture Fund I.

London-based Threedium secures $11m series A round funding. The round was led by Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) and Olma Partners with additional support from Mesh Consensys, Reflexive Capital, Nirvana Family Office, Lyra Ventures, Edenbase, and Kinisis Venture Fund I.

The funds will be used by the company to advance web-based 3D content development and spatial computing. In addition, it will be used to expand the company's growth by providing immersive storytelling to additional global companies and to further research and development into AI to boost the efficiency of 3D models.

Established in 2017, Threedium was founded by CEO Mike Charalambous and Chairman and chief technology officer Dusan Odobasic. The company provides enterprise services, web engine, asset management, and deployment tools, as well as 3D developer tools. These allow the development and release of very high-fidelity 3D and augmented reality applications for web and mobile platforms.

Among the customers are NuOrder Lightspeed, Tommy Hilfiger, Diageo, Girard Perregaux, Fendi, Bulgari, LOEWE, and Louis Vuitton. The business is also forming cooperation agreements with big international tech companies like Salesforce, AWS, NVIDIA, and Teads. These partners will employ Threedium's infrastructure services and APIs to supply their clients with high-fidelity 3D and real-time customised augmented reality experiences.
