Because of their intricacy, these technologies sometimes don't receive traditional investment, which makes assessing their potential difficult. Tensor Ventures provided access to decentralised technologies (Blockmate and Tatum), software 2.0 (Pointee, dstack, Stacktape, and Contember), biotech (Anari, Solvemed, and HeartBeat.bio), industry security (Veracity Protocol), and energy and climate technologies (Bioo).

Two of the portfolio's most promising firms were bought out by global behemoths: US-Israeli startup Neuronix AI and Czech startup UltimateSuite were both acquired by US corporations Microchip Technology and ServiceNow, respectively.

In addition, Tensor Ventures is growing its staff with the addition of Jan Faflík (ex-RSJ) as the lead biotech investor and Ondřej Ptáček (ex-PwC) as CFO.

Roman Smola of Tensor Ventures said, “Initially, investors joined because they trusted our expertise. It was something new for them, and they knew it was beneficial to invest early in this fast-growing segment, More recently, investors have been motivated by the sector’s resilience to fluctuations in global investment trends, with year-over-year stable growth in deep tech investments.”

The finest projects in the Czech Republic will receive half of the new fund's resources, with the other half going to promising startups around the globe. The first deals with promising firms are already in the works, and these funds will mostly assist early-stage companies.
