Tado° funding news – Munich-based Tado° Raises €30Million in Funding

This funding strengthens a partnership from last year, which combines Panasonic’s heat pump technology with Tado°’s smart heating and energy management services.

It helps control indoor temperatures through automation and different control options. Its app allows users to adjust settings, track usage, and view reports. It also works with smart home platforms, so users can change temperatures with voice commands.

It has features like geofencing that adjust settings based on who is at home, and weather adaptation that changes heating or cooling according to weather forecasts. Intelligent scheduling lets users set custom temperature plans, and automation handles climate control without needing manual input.

It ensures compatibility with different manufacturers and partners with energy providers and installers to expand its reach. The company has over one million devices in use worldwide.

Research, including a study by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (2022), shows that it helps save energy by adjusting heating based on weather and occupancy.
