Zurich-based Veezoo, specializing in agentic analytics, has raised $6M (approximately €5.11M) in a Series A round led by ACE Ventures.

Mark Nelson and Mark Kornfilt sit on Veezoo’s Board of Directors. Nelson, a Venture Partner at Madrona, joined in 2024 and previously held leadership roles at Tableau, Concur and Oracle. Kornfilt, a Venture Partner at ACE Ventures, formerly served as Vimeo’s Chief Product Officer and President, steering the company to $400M in revenue and a NASDAQ listing in 2021.
Veezoo builds an agentic analytics platform that enables users to ask questions and get accurate, data-driven answers. It blends agentic AI with a governed knowledge graph that standardises definitions, applies business logic, and manages access and authorisation. Queries are translated into SQL via Veezoo’s query language, ensuring auditable outputs.
The platform is used by thousands of users and trusted by organisations like AXA, Bayer, Baloise, Breitling, Valora, and Air Up.
Founded in 2016 as an ETH Zurich spin-off by Marcos Monteiro, Till Haug, and João Pedro Monteiro, Veezoo has roots in research on language models, question answering systems, and knowledge graphs. Today, Monteiro leads company strategy, Haug oversees operations and product execution, while João Pedro Monteiro drives platform and knowledge graph development.
