Swedish Paytech Trustly Appoints Randy Kern As Group CTO

Kern brings extensive experience from leading technology companies including Microsoft and Salesforce. He previously served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Marqeta, where he helped scale its global payments platform, and also held senior leadership roles at Salesforce and advised Microsoft on Azure development.

Zemba previously led the legal function at Deliveroo, where she built and scaled the legal team, supported multiple funding rounds, and oversaw the company’s 2021 IPO.

The appointments come as Trustly continues to expand its data-driven payments platform, which enhances customer experience, improves merchant insights, and supports higher customer retention through features like tokenisation and pre-filled payment flows.

The company is also strengthening its presence in the US, which now represents around half of its revenue, and continues to scale globally as adoption of Pay by Bank accelerates.
