SUMMARY
- Stockholm-based Stilla has emerged from stealth with $5 million in pre-seed funding to create an intelligence layer that facilitates seamless collaboration between humans and #AI in product teams.
The round was led by General Catalyst, with participation from a group of angel investors.
As organizations rapidly adopt AI across workflows, coordination challenges are growing. Information is spread across teams and tools, and fragmented context, time-consuming alignment, and multiple AI agents make maintaining a unified view of priorities and progress difficult.

Stilla tackles these challenges by offering an infrastructure layer for collaboration. Instead of acting as a standalone AI assistant, it integrates core workplace tools like Slack, Linear, GitHub and Notion to continuously track team activities, decision-making, and workflow progress.
By sharing relevant context across teams and AI systems, Stilla enables coordinated execution as organizations grow.
The company was founded by Siavash Ghorbani and Kaj Drobin, who previously helped develop Shop and Shop Pay at Shopify. Reflecting on the move toward organizations where humans and AI jointly drive decisions, Ghorbani stated:
Without real-time shared context, speed creates chaos. Getting everyone aligned humans and AI alike is now the single biggest unlock for companies.
Stilla is already being used by companies such as Spotify, Ramp, Lovable, and Legora. Anton Osika, CEO of Lovable, called it an early glimpse of the future of work, highlighting its ability to capture context automatically and turn it into coordinated action.
Legora CEO Max Junestrand added that in AI-driven environments speed is critical, and Stilla helps minimize communication overhead by keeping teams aligned, functioning like an AI-powered chief of staff.
The company intends to use the funding to strengthen its core infrastructure, improving coordination between human teams and AI agents as organizations expand their AI usage.
The capital will also support deeper integration with workplace tools and the development of new features informed by early product team adoption.
