Staynex Acquires Swiss Hotel Tech Startup Sleap.io

Staynex, a Singapore-based AI-driven Web3 travel platform chaired by Priceline and Booking Holdings founder Jeff Hoffman, has announced the full acquisition of Zug-based hotel booking technology company Sleap.io in a deal valued at €12.8 million ($15 million).

The acquisition brings Sleap’s booking platform, operational infrastructure and core team into Staynex. It combines Staynex’s token-enabled loyalty ecosystem and strong presence in Asian markets with Sleap’s proprietary hotel booking engine, European market expertise and established partnerships across the digital asset space, including Gate and Coinbase. The merged business will continue operating under the Staynex brand.

The deal comes ahead of Staynex’s planned April 2026 token generation event (TGE) and upcoming exchange listing objectives and also marks the launch of its token-based travel rewards system enabling real-world travel utility from day one.

Sleap is a Web3 enabled hotel booking platform that integrates cryptocurrency payments wallet based authentication and tokenized rewards to deliver competitive pricing and enhanced travel experiences. The platform provides access to more than 1.5 million hotels worldwide and leverages the Camino Network alongside broader Web3 infrastructure.

As part of the acquisition Ros will be appointed CEO of Europe for the Staynex Group. Sleap’s core team will also transition to Staynex, ensuring continuity across product development, engineering, operations and existing commercial relationships as the combined business scales.

Staynex has been developing an AI-driven Web3 travel ecosystem centered around the STAY token, social membership, and community-led travel experiences. Led by Jeff Hoffman, the company is blending established travel industry expertise with crypto-native product design to create a platform where users can book, earn, engage and participate in a rewards system designed for modern travelers.

The integrated platform combines award-winning booking infrastructure tied directly to real travel demand with multiple user-focused features designed to enhance utility and experience. These include STAY token rewards for booking activity, strengthening token utility within the ecosystem as well as AI-driven trip discovery and booking tools that streamline the travel planning process.

It also introduces social membership capabilities centered on community, access and engagement, along with support for both crypto and fiat payment options to enable seamless global travel transactions.

Strategically the integration supports Staynex’s European expansion and strengthens its market credibility through Sleap’s established technology and partnerships. It also reinforces the company’s pre TGE positioning by demonstrating greater product readiness and early consumer adoption ahead of its planned token launch.
