Soource Raises €3 Mn in Seed Round led by Vertis, Others

The funding round was led by Vertis through its “Vertis Venture 5 Scaleup” fund, with participation from Tenity, 360 Capital, and Club degli Investitori. 360 Capital had also led Soource’s previous funding round in January 2025.

With this new investment, Soource has now raised over €5 million in total since 2025. The company plans to strengthen its position in Italy’s procurement intelligence market and expand across Europe.

Founded in 2024 by Maicol Verzotto, Soource was founded in Bolzano by Olympic and European diving champion Maicol Verzotto, along with Nazareno Mario Ciccarello, Silvia Chiarot, Serena Galli, and Luca Taddeo.

The company is a technology platform that uses artificial intelligence to improve how businesses handle procurement. It is built on its own strong data system and helps companies make sourcing and supplier management faster and more efficient, while allowing employees to focus on more important tasks.

Soource says that AI works best when it has clean and complete data. However, in procurement, supplier information is often scattered, incomplete, or not verified. The startup aims to solve this problem by organizing and improving this data so AI can work more accurately.
