SUMMARY
- Amstelveen-based Social Links, a global technology company, has raised €2.6 million ($3 million) in follow-on funding to accelerate next-generation defense tools that protect brands, assets, and people in the AI era.
The round is led by Yellow Rocks!, whose total investment has grown sixfold, with previous backing from AltaIR Capital and Smart Partnership Capital.
Ivan Shkvarun, CEO of Social Links, explains: “The misuse of AI by the criminal sector created complex risks that outpace the capabilities of existing protection methods. Our responsibility is to provide clarity and actionable insight, turning fragmented and overwhelming data into effective defence. This is essential for securing trust in an AI-driven world. We deeply care about our investors and customers, and it is important for us to develop and grow together.”
The follow-on investment in Social Links reflects a broader wave of 2025 European funding focused on AI-driven defense, OSINT, and digital-risk technologies.

These investments come amid a rising threat landscape, with European losses from AI-enabled fraud, including deepfakes, surpassing €1.3 billion, €860 million of which occurred in 2025 alone.
The combined funding of these five startups (~€31 million), alongside Social Links’ new raise highlights sustained investor interest in European solutions addressing AI-enabled digital risk.
“AI has given criminals superpowers, while most protection tools are still stuck in the pre-AI era. Social Links is one of the very few companies that can realistically close this gap. They combine more than a decade of OSINT and digital investigations experience with a new generation of AI agents that actually understand how modern fraud, disinformation and abuse work in the real world,” shares Sergei Bogdanov PhD, Yellow Rocks! managing partner.
Founded in 2015 by Andrey Kulikov and Ivan Shkvarun, Social Links delivers deep data intelligence that helps organizations detect and prevent AI-enabled fraud and crime across social media, messaging apps, and digital platforms.
Unlike traditional cybersecurity, Social Links anticipates emerging AI-driven threats, transforming a decade of OSINT and digital investigation expertise into AI agents that operate collaboratively as an autopilot system.
The company reports an average growth rate of 80% YoY over the past six years and aims to accelerate further with new product launches. Serving over 450 customers in more than 90 countries including 170 government entities and 280 businesses its key markets are EMEA and the US (70%) and APAC and LATAM (30%).
“Our follow-on investment is a deliberate move to increase our stake in a category leader we know well. We believe Social Links is uniquely positioned to define the global standard for AI-driven digital risk protection in the coming years,” adds Bogdanov.
The funds will primarily support Social Links’ flagship AI initiative, developed under the AI Defender Autopilot concept, designed to address emerging digital risks, including detecting fraud, scam messages, and misinformation across emails, messaging platforms and brand-related content.
