SUMMARY
- US fintech Robinhood is expanding in the UK by launching its advanced desktop trading platform, Robinhood Legend, aimed at active traders.
Robinhood entered the UK market in March last year with commission-free trading on thousands of US stocks like Tesla, Amazon, and Apple.
Since then, it has added more US products, including options and margin trading.
Now, it's also rolling out UK-specific features, such as a fee-free stocks and shares ISA launching soon.

Robinhood Legend is its latest UK product, offering advanced tools like custom setups, deep analytics, and real-time data to support serious traders.
Vlad Tenev, Robinhood CEO and co-founder, previously told CNBC: “We have done very well on mobile historically among younger people.
“But about half the market is on desktop web, where you have more real estate on the screen, you can do more sophisticated things like have charts and data and the trading in the same interface. We weren’t really a player in that space.”
Jordan Sinclair, president, Robinhood, UK, said: “While mobile experience is really important, desktop is still top of mind, it is a big share of wallet for customers, it is important for active traders.”
Sinclair added: “Robinhood Legend is designed for those who believe that sophisticated yet intuitive, beautiful products can be a powerful advantage while trading.”
Robinhood says its data shows only one in three desktop traders are happy with their current platform. The biggest complaints from the rest are poor customisation options and difficult navigation.
