Refute funding news – London-based Refute has Secured £2.3 Million in a Pre-Seed Funding 

Notion Capital and Amadeus Capital Partners also took part in the funding round. Refute also received angel investments from Carlos Espinal, James Chappell, Charlie Songhurst and Alastair Paterson. Refute is a London-based startup that detects and responds to disinformation for businesses.

Disinformation attacks are fueled by factors like geopolitical instability and the use of AI to create false content. More advanced campaigns are often backed by government-backed groups, business competitors, or individuals trying to make money. These campaigns are coordinated across different platforms, such as news, social media, blogs, and forums.
