Rayon Raises €10Mn Series A to Expand AI-Powered Interior Design Software

Rayon, a browser-based design software platform for interior designers, has raised €10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Partech, with continued support from existing investors Northzone, Foundamental, and Seedcamp. The latest funding brings Rayon's total funding to nearly €16 million.

Rayon is built specifically for interior and experiential design projects. The platform offers an alternative to traditional design software created mainly for architecture and engineering. Users can import PDFs, images, and DWG plans directly into the browser.

The platform allows designers to create custom libraries of components and manage projects from the early planning stage through to execution. Rayon also keeps drawings and project information together, including plans, styling, specifications, and schedules.

Rayon makes collaboration easier by allowing teams to work on the same project at the same time. Users can also share drawings through a link instead of exporting files. The company plans to use the new funding to further improve its platform and expand its go-to-market activities.

Rayon has added several AI-powered features to its platform. One of them can turn scanned or photographed floor plans into editable digital drawings, including walls, openings, and different zones. Another AI tool can create design blocks from photographs.

The company has also launched a mobile-first app and added a presentation mode that allows designers to edit and share drawings with clients. Rayon has also expanded its template library to give users more ready-made options for their projects.
