Czech startup Ranketta, an AI platform that helps brands track and enhance their visibility in AI-powered search and shopping results, has secured €1 million in pre-seed funding.

The round was led by Lighthouse Ventures, with additional participation from Gi21 Capital.

Recent data shows that roughly 50% of consumers use AI-powered search to guide purchasing decisions, with 44% relying on it more than Google. By 2028, AI-influenced spending could reach $750 billion. Yet fewer than 40% of marketers prioritise Generative Engine Optimization, and only 16% of brands track their AI search performance.

This means brands may rank highly on Google but remain largely invisible within large language models without proper visibility tools.

Ranketta fills this gap by helping brands measure and boost visibility in AI-generated search results. The platform enables D2C, e-commerce, and B2B companies to track how often and prominently their products appear across tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode, and AI Overview, while providing actionable recommendations to improve placement.

It reveals which products LLMs recommend, why they appear, and how content adjustments can influence rankings. Beyond product-level insights, Ranketta monitors overall brand presence, including sentiment, frequency, and sources cited in AI responses.

An integrated AI Copilot analyses performance data and suggests which content and references will have the most impact, giving brands a clearer view of their AI search performance.

CEO Vojtěch Oravec notes that traditional SEO and analytics no longer reflect the full customer discovery journey, and companies need tools that operate across both conventional and AI-driven search channels.

Ranketta turns AI shopping into a real acquisition channel that companies can monitor, improve, and grow. Our mission is to ensure every brand can compete fairly in the AI-driven discovery landscape.

Founded in 2025, Ranketta started as a solo prototype by Vojtěch Oravec, a 21-year-old Czech AI researcher and engineer who began coding at 16 and became a software engineer at 18. Oravec previously conducted research with Tomáš Mikolov at the Czech Technical University’s CIIRC and worked as a product manager at Henry Schein.

In just two months since launch, Ranketta is already helping over 20 European brands, including Brainmarket, Boost.space, Purple Technology, and Sloneek. The new funding will drive European expansion, US market entry, team growth across engineering, product, and sales, and further development of integrations with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
