SUMMARY
- Hardware company Nothing is giving its users a chance to buy shares in a new $5 million community investment round.
The round opens on December 10, with shares priced at the company’s $1.3 billion Series C valuation.
The company said it has already raised $8 million from more than 8,000 people through two earlier community investment rounds. Its first round in 2021 aimed to raise $1.5 million.
Carl Pei, CEO and founder, Nothing, said: “With technological developments in AI, consumer devices and software will fundamentally change in the next couple of years. This is where we're uniquely positioned to play. Our community helped us get here, and this round lets them participate in where we're going.”

Nothing’s community investors get a rotating seat on the company’s board, though other benefits of participation remain unclear.
The company raised $200 million in its Series C in September from investors including Tiger Global, GV, Highland Europe, EQT, Latitude, I2BF, and Tapestry, bringing total funding to $450 million.
The new community round coincides with corporate changes as Nothing seeks a larger share of the smartphone market, dominated by Samsung and Apple. It is spinning off its budget CMF brand, exploring AI-focused devices, and continuing to build smartphones and audio products. Nothing also reported over $1 billion in cumulative revenue in 2025, a 150% increase from 2024.
