Berlin-based NexDash, founded just three months ago, has raised €5 million in seed funding to develop Neo-Carrier, its AI-driven platform for electric trucks.
SUMMARY
- Berlin-based NexDash, founded just three months ago, has raised €5 million in seed funding to develop Neo-Carrier, its AI-driven platform for electric trucks.
The round included participation from Extantia Capital and Clean Energy Ventures.
Heavy-duty trucks produce around 35% of transport-related CO₂ emissions, yet over 90% of logistics operators rely on small, aging diesel fleets with limited capital and low digitalisation. High upfront costs, operational complexity and sparse charging infrastructure slow electric truck adoption.
NexDash tackles these challenges with NexOS, an AI-based operating system that manages fleets, energy and financing in real time, providing the digital backbone for electric and eventually autonomous logistics.

Founded by Michael Cassau, former founder of Grover, NexDash is accelerating the electrification of Europe’s fragmented, under-digitalised road freight sector.
We consolidate, transform, and electrify diesel fleets – building Trucking-as-a-Service made in Europe. The last decade was about neobanks; the next is about neo-carriers,
said Cassau, highlighting that Germany’s electrification efforts are first gaining traction in the logistics sector.
NexDash plans to use the funding to finance acquisitions, deploy early electric trucks, expand charging infrastructure, and continue developing NexOS, building a next-generation, zero-emission logistics network across Europe.
