The new investment comes after the company achieved over 200% growth since its last funding round, along with key milestones such as expanding retail presence, launching new product partnerships, introducing a functional supplement line, and testing a veterinary channel.
Mikala Skov, Co-founder of Marleybones, said:
We’ve built strong traction across D2C and retail, expanded into supplements, and proven category demand with triple-digit growth. With TAW Ventures and JamJar by our side, we’re ready to accelerate our journey to make Pantry Fresh® a household standard.
In terms of sustainability, Marleybones has partnered with rePurpose Global to become plastic-neutral certified. The company uses 100% UK-made products sourced from locally grown British ingredients and packages all its meals in fully recyclable Tetra Pak cartons, helping avoid millions of single-use plastic pouches and trays.
Josephine Bager, co-founder of Marleybones, said the company’s growth shows that customers want dog food that’s both nutritious and convenient. She added that the Pantry Fresh® meals prove it’s possible to offer both, and the new funding will help Marleybones reach more customers and grow the fresh dog-food category.
The new investment will be used to expand teams in creative, customer experience, and retail, build brand awareness through influencers, PR, retail events, and campaigns, and boost performance marketing and customer acquisition.
