Mandel AI has raised $3.9 million in seed funding to improve coordination across global supply chains.
SUMMARY
- Mandel AI has raised $3.9 million in seed funding to improve coordination across global supply chains.
The startup has built an AI supply chain coordinator that helps manufacturers manage suppliers, detect disruptions, and automate procurement replacing the spreadsheets and email threads still widely used in industrial operations.
The platform integrates with existing email and ERP systems, using AI agents to read supplier communications, extract key data, match documents like purchase orders and invoices and take action automatically. It can follow up with suppliers, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues based on company-defined rules.
With this system, a single procurement manager can handle the work of an entire team, processing and responding to hundreds of supplier emails continuously, 24/7.

The company highlights that supply chain disruptions could cost businesses over $1.6 trillion this year, while 62% of manufacturers still struggle with unstructured data, slowing AI adoption.
Mandel AI has already processed over $1 billion in material spend across aerospace, pharma, and industrial sectors. As geopolitical tensions and tariffs push companies to diversify suppliers quickly the limits of manual, email-based coordination are becoming more evident, especially as many firms expand from managing 20 suppliers to 60 without increasing headcount.
Mandel AI aims to become the API for global trade communication, enabling self-coordinating supply chains for manufacturers and distributors across North America and Europe.
“Every supply chain system was built to track what happened. None were built to read and act on what’s happening right now,” says Nick Gospodinov, Bulgarian founder and CEO.
“Sales has Gong. Legal has Harvey. Finance has Ramp. We built the AI for the people who keep the world’s supply chains running.”
