SUMMARY
- London-based baby and children’s food brand Lune & Wild has raised €2.3 million (£2 million) in a Series A funding round to scale production and expand its retail presence.
The round was led by Guinness Ventures, with participation from industry figures including Dr. Rupy Aujla and Doug Struthers, Chairperson of Lune & Wild and former Managing Director of Ella’s Kitchen.
Existing investors include Charlie Gardiner (Our House, formerly Little Houses Group), Siân Parry Jones (co-founder of Archer Street Cocktail Bar), and Harry Bloice, former Commercial Director at Butternut Box.
Founded in 2021 by cousins Lara Rodgers and Nadia Simonds, Lune & Wild was created in response to what they saw as a lack of high-quality, nutritious food options for babies and young children, with many products relying on added sugars and limited variety.

Rodgers, a trained chef with experience in restaurants including The Ritz and The Newt, developed the concept after years of cooking for high-profile clients. Simonds was inspired after her own experience introducing solid foods to her child in 2019 and identifying a gap in the market for better-quality, convenient options.
The company produces chef-crafted meals made with organic ingredients, developed in collaboration with paediatric dietitians to ensure balanced nutrition, including appropriate levels of protein, fats, and carbohydrates. It also works with Soil Association-certified suppliers and uses high-welfare meat sourcing standards.
Lune & Wild reports strong early traction, including doubling revenue annually since launch and selling over one million meals in the past year. It also holds a 4.8-star Trustpilot rating and recently added Mike Hedges (former CEO of Little Moons and GrowUp Farms) to its board.
The new funding will be used to increase production capacity, expand retail partnerships including its recent launch on Ocado.com and support marketing and hiring.
The company will continue to operate across direct-to-consumer channels, retail partners, and selected nurseries across London and the Home Counties, while maintaining its chef-led approach and flexible, family-friendly working culture.
Nadia Simonds, co-Founder of Lune & Wild, said, “We’ve built Lune & Wild in close conversation with parents, understanding the real challenges they face and creating food that genuinely helps. With Guinness Ventures and our existing investors behind us, we’re excited to scale that impact and reach many more families across the UK.”
Lara Rodgers, co-founder of Lune & Wild, commented, “From day one, we’ve believed that children deserve better food. Food that’s full of flavour, made with care, and genuinely supports their development. This investment allows us to take our mission and products further, without compromising on the quality and craft that got us here.”
