VA-based Luna Secures $50M Investment from White Hat Capital Partners. A portion of the proceeds from this risk assessment were utilised to finance Silixa's purchase.
Silixa is a UK-based supplier of distributed fibre optic sensing technologies, with Glynn Williams serving as CEO. With a range of capabilities in distributed strain sensing (DSS), distributed temperature sensing (DTS), and distributed acoustic sensing (DAS), which offer improved performance for applications in energy, natural environments, mining, and security, the acquisition strengthens Luna's position in the fibre optic sensing market.
