SUMMARY

  • Loyalty program company Loyi, a brand of Enefty Technologies, secures €425,000 in pre-seed funding.
  • Loyi provides a no-code white-label platform to lifestyle brands for boosting Gen Z customer engagement.

Businesses can provide their clients with interactive challenges by using the Loyi platform. Among the gamification features of the platform are buying things, engaging on social media, and attending events. Customers receive digital incentives for accomplishing these tasks, which they may redeem for limited-edition products, special brand experiences, or other deals.

Giorgi Jashiashvili, co-founder and CEO of Loyi said, “I may get an email for a 20 per cent discount on my birthday. I don't even know what product I can use it for. Or think of the stamp card, buy nine copies and get 10 for free. It’s very boring. If you are a traditional brand and you keep connecting or communicating with customers and potential customers in the same way that you were doing 10 years ago, it just simply doesn't resonate.”

Don't even get me started on air miles: the majority of loyalty programmes are unrelated to customer purchasing behaviour and offer no opportunities for genuine brand interaction.

Consumers nowadays, particularly those in Generation Z, have a rapidly declining engagement with loyalty programmes due to their need for quick and engaging experiences. Considering the widespread appeal of gaming, Loyi pondered, "How can we apply gamification principles to enhance loyalty and incentivize the entire experience?" Web3 technologies and gamification are its response.

It's a digital-first strategy that meets customers where they are at the moment rather than waiting for them to take a card out of their wallet because, in Jashiashvili's words, "No one wants to carry around a loyalty card."

While many associate NFTs with Bored Ape and evil schemes, Loyi demonstrates to brands how they may boost engagement while saving money—particularly with younger audiences that are difficult to reach.

Through granular efforts like contests, digital quests, and points rewarded for watching promotional videos that can be applied towards purchases, marketers can draw in and hold on to customer attention using Loyi's platform.

Naturally, this gives brands more market intelligence. And Web3 promises to deliver on that. It all comes down to smart participation and community.
Established towards the close of 2021, it has worked with well-known lifestyle companies like Golden Tulip, United Colours of Benetton, and NH Hotels.

Pilot programmes increased email open rates from 40% to 80% and saw brands receive 2X more engagement on social media.

The goal of the new strategic relationship is to onboard Raiffeisenbanken and Volksbanken as the first banking sector clients to utilise the Loyi platform's white-label version. With the help of this white-label solution, Raiffeisenbanken and Volksbanken can provide personalised loyalty programmes under their own names.

Marco Rummer, CEO of DG Nexolution said, "The investment in Enefty Technologies results from an intensive engagement with developments and technologies in the crypto sector and tokenisation. It strengthens DG Nexolution's positioning as a pioneer of top-notch solutions for the cooperative financial group in our business fields. We are consistently implementing our strategy of integrating specialised products and services into the DG Nexolution group through subsidiaries or participations. Having our experts Tanja Rothermel and Tobias Psyk as future representatives on the supervisory board shows that we are not only investing financially but also want to contribute to the further development of the company, in order to offer our customers solutions for their needs based on these technologies."
