SUMMARY
- Riplo, a London-based startup building an agentic operating system for consulting, has raised €2.6 million (£2.3 million) in pre-seed funding as it comes out of stealth mode.
The round was led by Cherry Ventures, with participation from Blue Lion Capital, the founders of QuantumBlack (McKinsey’s AI division), and notable angel investors from McKinsey, BCG, OpenAI, Apple, Goldman Sachs, Hg Capital, along with senior leaders from the technology and professional services industries.
Founded in 2025 by Tobias Haefele, Oliver Scott, and Zack Zornitta, Riplo is building a new operating system that enables seamless collaboration between humans and AI agents across consulting workflows.
The founding team brings deep experience in AI and consulting. Haefele and Scott first met at QuantumBlack, McKinsey’s AI division where they developed AI-native products and later reconnected at Hg Capital. There, they met Zornitta an engineering leader with expertise in scaling AI-driven software.

Riplo was created to address inefficiencies in traditional consulting tools, which are still built for manual, human-only work such as slide creation and spreadsheet modelling. These systems are slow, fragmented, and difficult for AI to operate within.
Instead of treating AI as an external tool, Riplo integrates AI agents directly into the workflow. Its platform allows agents to draft, structure, and refine work in real time alongside consultants, helping teams move faster from creation to decision-making and delivering stronger client outcomes.
With the new funding, the company plans to deepen partnerships with design collaborators, expand its engineering team and continue advancing its long-term product vision.
“The $1 trillion (nearly €870 billion) consulting industry is currently running on the digital equivalent of a typewriter. You cannot achieve agentic speed inside a slide deck designed in the 90s. We aren’t building another chatbot; we are building the interface where the next generation of strategic analyses actually happens,” said Tobias Haefele, co-founder and CEO of Riplo.
