SUMMARY
- CodeWords, a London-based AI agent platform, has raised a €7.6 million ($9 million) Seed funding round to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams.
The round was led by Visionaries, with participation from Firstminute Capital, Sequel, and Illusian, alongside a group of prominent angel investors and tech leaders.
The company builds AI agents that allow users to run business operations on autopilot, aiming to automate and streamline core workflows for modern enterprises.
CodeWords, founded by Aymeric Zhuo and Osman Ramadan, builds Cody, an AI agent that learns how a business works and takes action proactively. Cody automates repetitive tasks, runs them continuously on CodeWords’ infrastructure, and improves over time, with no coding, deployment, or maintenance required.

The company began as Agemo, an AI research lab known for its neurosymbolic reasoning approach, and was featured alongside OpenAI in the ARC-AGI benchmark in 2024.
At the core of the platform is Cody, which learns a company’s tools, goals, and workflows from day one. It then suggests and builds automations that run in the background across multiple integrations and messaging platforms.

Use cases include a content agency where Cody manages social media workflows end-to-end from identifying content to drafting posts, sending them via WhatsApp for approval, and publishing automatically. In another example, automation agencies use Cody to run large-scale lead generation workflows, processing hundreds of thousands of tasks monthly.
The platform already handles around 500,000 tasks per month and is expanding its capabilities with contextual memory, WhatsApp integration and adaptable “Cody modes” that adjust execution based on task type.
CodeWords aims to make Cody a background operating layer for businesses, enabling teams without technical resources to run complex operations through AI automation.
“The best operators don’t wait to be asked. We built Cody on the same principle an agent that learns about your business, sees what needs doing, and delivers outcomes,” said Aymeric Zhuo, co-founder, CodeWords.
“We want users to feel like they’re working with an agent that already knows their business. Cody learns continuously so instead of starting from scratch every time, it’s already thinking about what you need next,” said Osman Ramadan, co-founder, CodeWords.
