Lawyers on Demand and Wordsmith Partner to Help In-House Teams
Jun 15, 2026 | By Team SR

Lawyers On Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, has announced a new partnership with Wordsmith to provide AI-powered managed services for in-house legal teams.
LOD’s partnership with Wordsmith aims to make AI practical for legal teams by integrating it directly into existing workflows through a managed service model, rather than using it as a separate tool.
By combining LOD’s legal professionals, governance expertise, and management of legal work with Wordsmith’s AI-powered workflow platform, in-house legal teams can handle growing workloads more efficiently without increasing staff or losing oversight.
While AI can automate many legal tasks, many organizations find it difficult to implement and manage the technology in a way that fits their existing processes and risk requirements.

Insights from real-world deployments will also help Wordsmith continue enhancing its platform for enterprise customers.
A three-month pilot across multiple legal teams and workflows showed improvements in efficiency, faster turnaround times and increased contract-handling capacity. The results highlighted the benefits of combining experienced legal professionals with AI powered tools to help in-house teams manage growing workloads while maintaining quality, consistency, and control.
