AI-powered hiring platform Kiku has raised €4 million in seed funding—just four months after its angel round.

SUMMARY

  • AI-powered hiring platform Kiku has raised €4 million in seed funding—just four months after its angel round.

The funds will be used to boost product development, grow the team, and expand into key European markets, while building a brand that resonates with frontline workers and hiring teams.

Founded by Eric André and Rasmus Andersen, Kiku was born from André’s experience at Voi, where he hired hundreds of frontline workers. Unlike traditional hiring tools built for office roles, Kiku is tailored for today’s mobile-first, deskless workforce.

The platform features a 24/7, mobile-first, conversational AI interface—letting candidates apply via chat or voice, in any language, without forms or resumes. It offers a natural, unbiased experience where candidates can ask questions and progress instantly if there’s a match.

Kiku’s AI, “Sara,” conducts thousands of structured interviews weekly and automates every step of the process—from sourcing to reference checks—helping companies fill roles in days, not weeks.

Eric André, co-founder and CEO of Kiku, shared: With Kiku, scale and quality are no longer mutually exclusive. We leverage AI to prove that candidates can be treated fairly while companies drastically improve their ways of working. Kiku turns scale into an advantage. It makes fast, high-quality hiring possible, without increasing recruiter headcount or sacrificing candidate experience.

Kiku is already gaining traction in the Nordics, UK and US, helping companies speed up interviews and reduce time-to-hire. Candidate satisfaction stands at 93%, while hiring teams report quicker decisions, better engagement, and stronger talent pipelines.

The €4M seed round was led by Cherry Ventures, with support from Yellow (co-founded by Glovo’s Oscar Pierre) and angel investors Fredrik Hjelm and Felipe Navio.

Sophia Bendz, Partner at Cherry Ventures commented: Kiku is solving one of the most painful and under-invested challenges in hiring. Eric and Rasmus bring deep operational experience, product insight, and urgency to this problem. We believe Kiku will define the category for AI in frontline recruitment.

As AI reshapes the future of work, Kiku enables companies to stay competitive in a fast-changing labour market. Designed for scale and focused on people, it reduces cost-per-hire by up to 80% and shortens time-to-fill, all while delivering a mobile-native, multilingual, and bias-free hiring experience.

Whether hiring 10 or 10,000 people, Kiku ensures every candidate is fairly seen and heard. It works seamlessly with existing ATS platforms or as a standalone solution. As workforce needs evolve and AI use grows, Kiku helps companies stay ahead rather than fall behind.
