In addition, the critical shortage of skilled workers – 71% of consulting firms report staffing problems – leads to frequent errors and missed deadlines. In addition, the industry suffers from outdated technology and manual processes.
There is no digital platform that is designed end-to-end, i.e. built for both companies and tax advisors. For companies, this means high costs, poor service quality and a lack of real-time insights, which hinders both their growth and their competitiveness.
Lukas Zörner, founder of Integral said, " Our vision is clear: We want to reinvent the way companies manage their accounting, tax consulting and payroll accounting. Companies should be able to concentrate on what is important, on growing their business. Instead, they have to invest a lot of time in outdated and extremely time-consuming software solutions. We want to be the trusted partner of SMEs to make these processes faster and more intelligent with AI solutions. We are building a platform that enables SMEs to completely outsource these services,".
Their solution uses an AI-powered platform combined with human expertise to help businesses across Europe work more efficiently and make better financial decisions. Key features include a central platform for collaborating and communicating with a tax advisor, direct integration with clients' financial tools, and AI that supports both businesses and advisors.
Zeynep Yavuz, Partner at General Catalyst said, “Although small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of the European economy and society, they are still underserved in the area of digital accounting and tax consulting. We believe that Lukas and Anil are exceptional founders who bring a lot of experience in building digital financial platforms for SMEs. We are excited to work with them to strengthen the European economy,”.
Filip Dames, founding partner at Cherry Ventures said, " At Cherry, we support founders who have the ambition to fundamentally change industries, The Integral team's vision to revolutionize tax and accounting services for small and medium-sized companies across Europe addresses a deep-rooted problem. Lukas, Anil and their team are creating something truly new, and we are excited to be their partner on this journey."
