Indigo.ai, part of Vedrai Group and a leader in conversational AI in Italy, has raised €10 million in a Series B funding round to grow its business both locally and internationally. The funding comes from Azimut Group, a global financial services firm, and follows a previous €2.5 million round raised by Vedrai Group in January 2024.

Founded in 2016 by five university students, indigo.ai quickly leveraged AI to create solutions that improve conversations between businesses and customers.
Today, it offers virtual assistants powered by advanced AI agents, helping businesses build stronger, more empathetic relationships with users, which boosts customer care, loyalty, and overall brand performance.

In the past year, indigo.ai has expanded its client base, working with well-known brands like DentalPro, Opyn, Università Bocconi, Consorzio Netcomm, and Pensionati.it, in addition to longtime clients like Enel, Santander Consumer Bank, Lavazza, Bayer, and Telepass.

Their continuous focus on innovation has led to advanced projects, such as using AI agents on WhatsApp for Flou, a leading Italian furniture brand, creating a virtual assistant for technical support at Unobravo, and helping Satispay, a top digital payment platform in Italy, enhance their app with AI support.
In 2024, the company launched a Partnership Program to collaborate with system integrators and help large companies with their tech choices. Their goal is to make their platform more user-friendly, scalable and aligned with market demands.
