HOLYWATER Raises $22M To Expand Mobile Microdrama Content

The funding follows a prior investment from Fox Entertainment in October 2025 (see our earlier interview with Anatolii Kasianov, co-founder and Co-CEO of HOLYWATER).

Operating across multiple entertainment technology segments HOLYWATER’s flagship app My Drama won the People’s Voice Award for Best Streaming Service at the 2025 Webby Awards and delivered strong revenue growth.

The company’s AI-powered platform My Muse is also gaining traction in the AI streaming category.

Commenting on the investment co-founders and co-CEOs Bogdan Nesvit and Anatolii Kasianov said the round underscores growing momentum behind premium short-form storytelling and its potential as a scalable content format.

They highlighted that vertical series are increasingly emerging as a long-term storytelling medium across multiple genres.

The new funding will support HOLYWATER’s plans to further develop its mobile-first vertical video streaming platform and expand its AI-driven content ecosystem.

This includes exploring AI-enabled formats such as comics and animation, while strengthening IP development and distribution across additional content categories.
