HelloBetter has secured €3 million in funding for its digital mental health product. The money comes from the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of Brandenburg through the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB).

Funding utilisation
The funding will help it to develop and expand its AI to better personalize the user experience, aiming to improve user engagement, satisfaction, and overall mental health results.
It offers ten online therapy programs that cover common mental health issues like depression, insomnia, and panic attacks, as well as less addressed conditions like vaginismus and chronic pain.

Six of these programs are approved by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and are part of Germany’s healthcare system. They are available at no cost to adults with public health insurance as prescription digital treatments.
