Hammer funding news - London-based Hammer Missions Secures €1.6 Million in New Funding

London-based Hammer Missions, a company using AI and drones to improve how buildings are inspected, has raised €1.6 million in new funding. The money will help grow its AI technology and support expansion into North America.

SUMMARY

  • London-based Hammer Missions, a company using AI and drones to improve how buildings are inspected, has raised €1.6 million in new funding.
  • Hammer Missions™ is a software platform that helps drone professionals and companies collect and analyze high-quality drone data for 3D building inspections using AI.

The funding round included ACF Investors and angel investors like Graham Hunter (founder of GeoSLAM), Martin Grant (former CEO at Atkins), and Stephen Bullock (tech investor and ex-President at E100 Angels).

Varun Sarwal, CEO at Hammer Missions, said, “We built our drone software with simplicity at its core, to help industry stakeholders gather actionable data for any type of building structure. We’re working with exceptional clients and partners, and look forward to using the funding to expand internationally and improve our product offering to remain at the cutting edge of inspection technology in the built environment.”

Hammer Missions has been working with top architecture and engineering firms like Thornton Thomasetti and SGH in the US, helping improve building inspections worldwide.

The company says regular inspections are key to keeping buildings safe and up to standard. The UK’s Building Safety Act highlights the need for strict construction and maintenance checks.

But traditional inspections often need expensive equipment and take a lot of time. Hammer’s AI-powered drone software makes this easier by scanning buildings and creating 3D inspection reports automatically. It collects detailed data quickly and can be used for things like roof and wall checks, finding damage, and thermal analysis.

Their AI also speeds up data review and reporting, helping professionals spend less time analyzing and more time making smart decisions about building safety.

Sam Fennell, Partner at ACF Investors, said: “Hammer Missions radically changes the economics for building owners who need to perform accurate assessments of the structures they own and manage. Many large buildings are hard and expensive to access, reducing the ability to assess them for safety or preventative maintenance. Thanks to Hammer they can now do this quickly, accurately and cost effectively. We are pleased to be backing Varun and his team as it builds through its next phase of growth.”
