Leading the round was Italian Founders Fund, with participation from prominent angel investors including David Clarke (previously of Workday) and Pietro Cesati (formerly of Soisy), as well as Brainstorm Ventures, Alecla7, Ithaca, BHeroes, Club degli Investitori, Eden Ventures, and Delirus Capital.

In order to assist marketing teams of B2C firms in making better business decisions based on a novel kind of consumer and market research—conversational surveys—Matteo Cera and Giovanni del Gallo founded Glaut in late 2023.

Matteo Cera, co-founder of Glaut, highlights the advantage of using Glaut compared to the traditional multiple-choice surveys: “Quantitative surveys often lack depth and fail to elucidate the reasons behind the data.” – he adds – “Our software approaches customer research with a qualitative approach, engaging customers and users in meaningful conversations. Glaut delves deep with personalized follow-up questions, synthesizing responses into actionable business insights.”

It is just as simple to use as a Google Form, but in contrast to multiple-choice questionnaires, it allows users to participate in lengthy, open-ended discussions to express their opinions about companies, goods, and experiences.

Before expanding its commercial operations internationally, It hopes to utilise this funding to fortify its product and tech team, enhance its customer research platform, and provide vertical solutions for other market research use cases.
