Germany-Based B2B SaaS Startup Steuerboard Secures €725K In Pre- Seed Round

Founded in 2023, Steuerboard addresses the talent shortage in tax advisory firms by eliminating inefficient email exchanges, boosting transparency, and automating routine data tasks. Its AI-native platform integrates with existing systems to deliver agentic AI that proactively handles day-to-day decisions and workflows.

With the global tax software market valued at $18.5 billion in 2023 and expected to grow at a 10% CAGR through 2030, Europe’s market alone generated $4.72 billion—Germany accounting for about 30% of that total—positioning Steuerboard for strong growth in a rapidly expanding sector.

Since its launch, Steuerboard has onboarded nearly 100 tax offices and now supports thousands of businesses every month. This rapid adoption highlights the strong demand for digital, AI-powered collaboration tools in Germany’s tax sector.

The pre-seed funding round was led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), with additional backing from SuperAngels Fund and serial entrepreneur Roland Fassauer.
