Newyork-based Global Investor General Atlantic Acquired a Majority Interest in Joe & the Juice

Global investor General Atlantic of New York acquired a controlling stake in Valedo Partners' freshly made juice, coffee, and sandwich concept Joe & the Juice, located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It is expected that the deal would finalise in 2023's fourth quarter. General Atlantic will take over as the company's majority shareholder once the deal is completed.

Joe & the Juice has achieved worldwide growth and great performance since General Atlantic's original investment in October 2016. Its revenue has grown profitably by more than 4x, and its store presence has quadrupled. Joe & the Juice had 175 stores in 2016; today, it has over 360 locations worldwide.
Under the direction of CEO Thomas Noroxe, Joe & the Juice intends to take advantage of its enhanced collaboration with General Atlantic to quicken the expansion of its worldwide presence in significant foreign markets, take advantage of consumer demand, and broaden its digital distribution networks.

A portion of the investment will be utilised to lower the amount of debt on the company's balance sheets and concentrate on opening unlevered stores in important foreign markets in order to take advantage of the growing demand for quick, healthful food among consumers worldwide.
Joe & the Juice is an urban juice bar and coffee concept that was founded in 2002 and is currently operating in 18 countries under the leadership of CEO Thomas Noroxe. The company uses natural and organic products that are directly sourced from growers to create its freshly made juices, shakes, sandwiches, and coffee.
