Verdane
Verdane, a European growth investment firm, has successfully closed its Verdane Idun II fund with €700 million. This fund will invest in businesses focused on decarbonisation, helping to make the economy more sustainable.
AshGrove
AshGrove Capital, an independent specialty lender in Europe, has closed its second fund at €650 million, exceeding its target of €500 million.
Founderful
Swiss pre-seed fund Founderful has raised €133 million for its second fund, despite challenges in the European venture capital market. The fund has already invested in 15 early-stage companies, supporting innovations like Chiral Nano’s new silicon chips and Eigthinks’ improvements to lithium-ion batteries.
Impress
Impress, a leading orthodontic chain specializing in invisible aligners, has raised over €110 million in its latest funding round. The investment was led by Trinity Capital Inc., CareCapital, LBO France, and TA Ventures.
Maki.vc
Helsinki-based venture capital firm Maki.vc has launched its third fund of €100M to invest in early-stage startups in the Nordics and Northern Europe. The fund focuses on the Nordic region and takes advantage of its strong tech expertise and supportive public investment environment.
Satispay
Italian mobile payments company Satispay has raised €60 million in funding, with support from key investors Addition, Greyhound, and Lightrock.
Agicap
Lyon-based Agicap, a treasury management platform, announced on raises €45million in a series C round funding. The round led by AVP will enable Agicap to further consolidate its leadership position in Europe as it scales to become the global reference in the midmarket treasury management space.
OpenAirlines
OpenAirlines, a company that provides eco-flying software solutions, has raised nearly €45 million in funding to support the ecological transition in aviation. The funding round was led by Eiffel Investment Group with support from Mirova, and the Caisse de Retraite du Personnel Navigant Professionnel de l’Aéronautique Civile (CRPN) is expected to join by the end of the year.
Bynd
Bynd Venture Capital has launched its third fund, worth €40 million, with backing from notable investors like the Spanish fund Fond-ICO, Portuguese industrial group Nors, Caixa Capital, and private investors from Spain and Portugal.
LocalStack
LocalStack has raised $25 million in Series A funding, led by Notable Capital, with support from existing investors CRV and Heavybit. The company offers a virtual environment that helps developers build and test cloud applications more easily, without the usual challenges of cloud-based testing.
