SUMMARY
- FRYTE Mobility has raised €3.5 million in Seed funding, bringing its total funding to €5 million.
- The round was co-led by 4impact capital and Rethink Ventures, with existing investors also participating.
- Founded in 2025, FRYTE aims to make electric truck charging more reliable and efficient.
The funding round was co-led by 4impact capital and Rethink Ventures. Existing investors Revent, F-LOG, accilium ventures, and several angel investors also participated.
FRYTE Mobility will use the new funding to expand its platform across Europe. The company aims to connect electric trucks with the charging infrastructure they need to operate efficiently.
Pauline Wink, Founding Partner at 4impact capital, commented, “Electric trucks are about to reach total cost of ownership parity with diesel in several European countries, and Europe’s CO2 mandates are further driving the shift toward electric heavy-duty transport. That takes the continent from tens of thousands of eTrucks today to hundreds of thousands by 2030. What is missing is not more chargers or more software, but a layer that makes logistics, charging and energy systems work together.

“Most players are building vertical point solutions. FRYTE is building the horizontal coordination layer, and Max and Sebastian have been all in on this problem since day one. That combination of timing and depth is rare, and it is why we invested.”
Wolff, CTO and co-founder of FRYTE Mobility, said, “Charging infrastructure only works at scale if it connects across operators, and that only happens through open standards. The charging side is live, our next milestone is the transport management domain.”
Zähringer, CEO and co-founder of FRYTE Mobility, said, “Our product is ready for scale, and the foundation we’ve built with partners like TRATON, Fraport and Energie Südbayern proves it. This round lets us focus entirely on commercial scaling — bringing more CPOs and eTruck operators across Europe onto the platform. With Rethink Ventures, 4impact capital and our existing investors, we have the perfect match: their expertise in logistics and energy, and their access to new markets, will help us grow faster and reach the operators who need this most.”
FRYTE was founded in 2025 by Sebastian Wolff and Maximilian Zähringer. The company runs a platform that connects electric truck fleets with suitable charging infrastructure.
FRYTE helps fleet operators find the right private and public charging points along their routes. Its platform recommends suitable charging partners and coordinates when and where electric trucks should charge.
The platform gives eTruck operators reliable charging slots while helping charging point operators get more predictable usage. Dispatchers and drivers also receive optimised route suggestions and, when needed, charging reservations with the most suitable partners.
