SUMMARY
- Paris-based video post-production startup Aive has raised €12 million in Series A funding to advance its proprietary MGT (Multimodal Generative Technology) for the video industry.
The funding round was led by global investment firm Invus and comes just over a year after Aive launched its platform.
“Thanks to the convergence of AI Analytics, AI Generative, and our genetic optimisation technology, Aive doesn’t just automate creation: it maximises performance. We’ve seen our customers achieve up to 2.5x more conversions and an average 30% reduction in cost of acquisition,” said Rudy Lellouche, CPTO & Aive Co-founder.
Positioned as the first AI platform dedicated to automating video post-production for businesses, Aive acts as a creative AI co-pilot. It uses proprietary technology to automatically edit, personalise, and optimise multiple versions of video content—whether from one video or a combination of several—tailored to different formats, platforms, and distribution goals.

With video now making up over 80% of all digital content consumed, brands, agencies, and media companies face growing pressure to create platform-specific, personalised content. But that demand creates heavy workloads—nearly half of creatives report spending over 50% of their time on repetitive adaptation tasks.
Aive addresses this by automating the process, generating optimised video versions for every channel, format, or objective from a single source.
“Our mission is simple: enable brands to produce videos more effectively, more quickly, and with a level of security and personalisation to match their challenges. This fundraising will enable us to take a new step in our development and confirm our global ambition,” added Olivier Reynaud, CEO & Aive Co-founder.
At the core of Aive is its proprietary MGT (Multimodal Generative Technology), which combines Generative AI, Analytical AI, and multimodal analysis. Powered by a genetic algorithm, the platform can reportedly create up to 100,000 backend variations from a single user-defined creative prompt.
Aive claims its technology is 30 times faster—reducing post-production from hours to minutes—and 20 times more cost-effective compared to traditional, manual workflows.
While the platform is designed primarily for creative teams in marketing, social media, and communications, Aive also aims to make the solution accessible to SMBs and individual content creators in the future.
Built with enterprise needs in mind, Aive offers a secure, Europe-hosted platform that can adapt to the demands of large international organisations.
“Aive combines performance, scalability and creative intelligence in a single platform. We believe in their ability to redefine video production standards on a global scale and in the long term, and we’re delighted to be accompanying Olivier and Rudy in this new phase of development,” said Benedetto Staccia, Managing Director, Invus.
Launched commercially in early 2024, Aive is already being used by over 40 international companies, including Stellantis, LVMH, Clarins, Groupe Seb, Meetic, Publicis, IPG, Datawords, and Omnicom.
The startup has crossed €1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), with 15% coming from the U.S. market, and is now gearing up for rapid growth.
With a current team of 20 employees, Aive plans to triple its workforce by the end of 2026 to boost its tech capabilities and expand globally.
