SUMMARY

  • Davis, a Paris-based AI-native real estate startup focused on accelerating early-stage development and architectural design, has raised €4.6 million ($5.5 million) in a pre-seed funding round.

The round was led by Heartcore Capital and Balderton Capital, with participation from Yellow, Evantic, and Entrepreneurs First, along with angel investors from the founding teams of SpaceMaker, Black Forest Labs, Hugging Face, Supabase, Cleo, and Spore.bio.

Alongside the funding, the company has also launched Gaudi-1, its first AI model designed to generate architectural designs within real-world constraints.

Founded in 2025 by Mehdi Rais and Amine Chraibi, Davis combines proprietary AI with human expertise to produce architect-grade outputs in hours or days instead of weeks or months, while keeping humans involved in the loop.

The company aims to compress early-stage real estate development timelines from months to days by transforming regulatory, technical, and market data into structured constraints.

These inputs are used to generate feasibility studies covering site conditions, ROI analysis, and architectural outputs such as volumetrics, floor plans, and space planning, which are then reviewed by human experts before delivery.

Davis says that traditional workflows from site analysis to architectural concept involve multiple stakeholders and fragmented processes, whereas its platform unifies these steps into a single integrated system.

Davis is an AI-native real estate platform that accelerates early-stage development and architectural design. It aims to set a new time standard for the industry by transforming complex planning processes into faster more integrated workflows, combining AI with human expertise to deliver architect-grade outputs in days instead of months.

Mehdi Rais, co-founder and CEO of Davis, said, “Real estate is one of the world’s largest asset classes, yet some of its most important workflows still move at a pace that no longer makes sense. We started Davis to set a new time standard for real estate development and ultimately to reshape how cities are designed and built.”
