SUMMARY
- Flip has raised $25 million in new funding to expand its AI-powered employee platform.
- The company helps frontline workers access information, communicate and manage work through one digital platform.
- The funding will support technology development and expansion of the platform.
Existing investors Notion Capital and HV Capital increased their investments in Flip. L-Bank, the development bank of Baden-Württemberg, also joined the round as a new investor, along with several business angels and institutional investors.
"AI has long been part of everyday life in the office but, on the assembly line, in stores, or in care settings, it has barely arrived, said Benedikt Brand, co-founder and CEO of Flip. He attributed the gap partly to frontline organisations lacking the digital identity and infrastructure required to integrate AI into day-to-day operations."
Founded in 2018, Flip develops a digital platform that helps companies connect with their frontline employees. It serves workers in industries such as manufacturing, retail, logistics, healthcare and hospitality.

Many frontline workers in these industries do not have regular access to company computers or work email accounts. Flip provides them with a simple digital way to access important company information and communicate with their teams.
The platform brings several tools together in one app, including internal communication, work processes, digital employee IDs and AI-powered features.
The new funding will help Flip improve its technology and expand its platform to reach more frontline workers.
