Eschatology Entertainment funding news – Cyprus-based Eschatology Entertainment Raises €10.2 Million in Funding

With this investment, the studio will be able to finish important development phases and guarantee a smooth production and launch for their next Souls-like first-person shooter game set in an apocalyptic Wild West.

A group of exceptional professionals, Eschatology Entertainment has experience working at studios such as Valve, Wargaming, 4A Games, Bluehole Studio, GSC Game World, and Frag Lab. The group has experience expanding the popular video game World of Tanks to new areas and creating other very popular MMOs throughout the world.

The visual aesthetic of Half-Life 2 and other Dishonored titles was created by the studio's Visual Director. Among other games, Master of Orion, Caliber, and Shatterline have all been managed, published, and released by other team members.

The previous $4 million financing round for the studio, which was led by GEM Capital and The Games Fund, allowed for the first stages of production and the hiring of an exceptional staff. With this fresh $11.3 million investment, Eschatology is expected to launch its first project in due course.

After a showcase vertical slice and pre-production were finished, the game is currently in its busiest stage of development. This investment guarantees excellent development, a smooth production process, and a timely release. Furthermore, Eschatology intends to form a publishing team, indicating their aspirations going beyond this pilot project.
