Engrate Funding News-Swedish Energy Startup Engrate Secures €2.5M For Efficient Energy Integration

The funding round was led by global VC firm Maniv, known for investing in transport and energy solutions.

Other investors include Eviny Ventures, backed by Norwegian renewable energy provider Eviny, and Swedish VC firm Course Corrected. The round brings together both international and Swedish investors with strong sector expertise.

“Electricity consumption is expected to double within the next 10–20 years. To handle that amount of electricity, we require smart digital solutions that enable seamless collaboration and communication across the energy sector to ensure efficient and sustainable production. With this new funding, we can further develop Engrate’s platform to meet the growing need for simple, scalable integrations, both in Sweden and globally,” says Anna Engman, Co-founder and CEO, Engrate.

Engrate’s platform simplifies communication between systems, helping energy companies reduce time-to-market and handle local grid and regulatory requirements more efficiently.

It has already secured energy company Flower as a customer and participated in the Norrsken Accelerator Programme.

Previously, Engrate raised over €500,000 from Dutch VC firm NP Hard and angel investors. The company sees smooth system integration as key to building the future of energy.
